About the Book
A Day in the Life of a Plastic Bag is an adventure coloring book that tells the story of what happens when two children carelessly let a plastic bag blow away. This book includes small steps children can take to have a huge impact in cleaning up our environment. Through the story, games, and puzzles in this book, readers learn that one person can make a difference.
About the Author
During her junior year at South Pasadena High School, Anneliese worked with Algalita Marine Research Institute to create and complete her Girl Scout Gold Award project, which she earned in June 2013. Anneliese is very active in Girl Scouts and in serving her community through the Girl Scouts and other community organizations. Anneliese grew up in Girl Scouts, starting in kindergarten as a Daisy Scout and finishing as an Ambassador Scout when she graduated from high school, a total of 13 years of Girl Scouting. In 2014, she received the President of the United States’ Gold Volunteer Service Award in recognition of the 400+ community service hours she served from her sophomore through senior years in high school. Anneliese is passionate about helping others and the environment.
