About the Book
The Pocket Sous Chef —Da Vinci’s Guide to Cooking for 1 + 1 is a cookbook about falling in love with cooking again. Many people who are single or have busy lifestyles don’t identify with a lot of cookbooks, because they don’t fit in with their lifestyle.
Da Vinci wrote The Pocket Sous Chef with singles, couples, students, and busy professionals in mind. No longer will you need to slave over a hot stove just to make one meal for yourself or two plates of food. Now there is an easy guide with more than sixty recipes—breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, desserts, and drinks—to lead home cooks in the right direction and allow you to fall in love with making good food for yourself or your plus-one!
About the Author
With a culturally rich background, Da Vinci gained a passion for all kinds of cuisine. Coming from a family of cooks, chefs, caterers, and restaurateurs, she watched intently and then drew from each inspiration to create her own style of cooking. Da Vinci allowed herself to take in the scents, flavors, and beauty of food as a whole. With that appreciation and freedom of expression, her love for food and cooking grew. Da Vinci believes cooking for someone is a wonderful way to show you care. The best food comes from love.
Da Vinci, a self-proclaimed English peach, lives in Atlanta, Georgia, where she runs an online blogazine, Your Life After 25. When she’s not cooking or working on the site, she enjoys reading, karaoke, exploring new places, and trying new things.
