About the Author
The author, Mary Hayes, draws from her life experiences in her creative writing style. Her simple illustrations are from personal memories. She has only a high school education and no formal training in any field other than secretarial work. What she does possess is an appreciation for the value of life and the inexpressible love bond between parent and child.
