In 1996 I thought that I had met the man of my dreams - at last! I was 26 and all around me friends were getting married. I was crazy in love and felt like the feelings would last forever. They were so strong that I ignored all the warning signs - the biggest one being that he used pornography. At that time, all I had was an email address at work. I had never gone online and I had no idea how accessible porn was on the internet even back then. I thought I could easily rid our lives of the few movies on his shelf and he assured me that a real woman would solve his problem anyway. It didn't. I just ended up being used as he tried to live out his porn fantasies with me.
