Melissa Whitmore was born in Texas and grew up in Wyoming with her Mom, Sister, and Grandparents. She later moved to Kentucky in middle school, graduated from high school, and soon married her husband Damon in early 2000. She has two teenage sons, Matthew and Joey, and still lives in Kentucky until their coastal move in a couple years. Melissa is a self-employed Event Planner, Photographer, and Luxury Travel Specialist that has taken her all over the world. Being a child’s author has always been a dream of hers. When Mel started writing, it reignited the adventure and wonder of getting lost in a book.
