The fishpond was full of big fat goldfish and koi. Sarah saw the sheep and the goats in the paddock by the barn. She sniffed the sweet smell of the fresh hay bales that filled the barn loft. The rooster and chickens pecked happily at bugs in their coop. The old gray horse looked out the door of his stall and nodded. Sarah thought he even winked at her! The pigs slept in their sty. The cows chewed their cuds in the pasture, and the big black bull was pawing the dirt in his pen, watching the red truck roll past. Even the wheat stalks waved their golden heads in the breeze. What a peaceful farm, thought Sarah. Returning from their trip to town, Uncle Ulrey turned the old red truck onto the road toward the farm. His eyes grew wide with horror as he screeched the truck to a halt. Something was TERRIBLY wrong! Everything on the farm had gone haywire?

About the Book
Sarah O'Shea and her dog Claude are visiting Aunt Minerva and Uncle Ulrey on their farm! She and Claude are looking forward to gathering eggs, picking peaches for Aunt Minerva's delicious peach cobbler, and helping Uncle Ulrey with chores around the farm. But the peaceful farm is turned upside down when the animals begin acting freaky! Can Sarah and Claude get the cows out of the pond, the goats out of the garden and the pigs out of the hayloft?

Sharon Feldt is the author of six children’s books including three in the Sarah O’Shea series. Sarah leads her readers through humorous adventures with her faithful four-legged furry sidekick, Claude. Other books include A Mouse in the Keyboard, A Christmas for Charlie Spruce, and The Stable.
